About Event

Crisis Tech Design Challenge is a 1:30-hour
innovation event where each team receives a Risk Event Card representing a
real-world emergency scenario such as floods, fire accidents, earthquakes,
medical emergencies, or crowd control incidents.
Based on the allotted scenario,
participants must propose a web application idea that can help
in preparedness, emergency communication, evacuation planning, rescue
coordination, and recovery support.
Participants are not required to develop
the complete application. They will present the concept, key features,
user flow, and impact to the judges.

TECH ON TRAILS:
Tech on Trial is a debate event where teams are given a topic and must speak either in support of or against it. Participants present arguments, counter the opponent’s points, and defend their stance with valid reasoning, making it a true test of logic, awareness, and debating skills
RULES:
Topics/Statement will be assigned randomly on spot.
15 mins total: 5 mins preparation + 4 mins debate.
No mobile/internet allowed during debate.
Judging based on knowledge, clarity, argument strength, confidence, teamwork.
Judge’s decision is final; results announced after the round.
Rule violations may lead to disqualification.
